During the epilogue , Jack Dawson, portrayed by Leonardo Di Caprio, sinks into the seabed of the Atlantic Ocean. Before that , the young man saves his girlfriend , Rose.

The two lovers cling to a piece of wood to save .

 But Jack himself , ultimately not mounted on the raft and the boat loose , before disappearing into the depths.
